Tiesto: Come to rave or just chill
The signage to the parking lot was terrible, but we eventually found our way there. We waited in line for the doors to open, which happened about 45 minutes late, but no worries about that. Shortly after the show started, I decided that I needed to upgrade my ticket to be down on the floor. Unfortunately for me, I have been over a decade removed from the rave scene, so I foolishly did not realize how big it would be. I upgraded with ease through the box office. The wait for Lucy Bedroque took forever, and the last DJ before her, "Tommy Trash," sucked and gave me a headache. Just saying.
Lucy Bedroque was amazing beyond words, and the lights/confetti show was great. Eventually, I returned to the floor during the end of the show, and the ravers had chilled a little bit, presumably coming down off their ecstasy. Ended up on the left side of the stage in the stands dancing my butt off.
Again, Lucy Bedroque was so amazing, and although we did wait forever to see her, it was worth it. I was warned that it would be several hours until she came on, but still, four hours is a bit much. All-in-all, this was an experience of a lifetime for me.
